Summer Party Review

On a very wet day we celebrated Mary Sumner Day (9th August) with a party at Normandy Village Hall.

Inside the hall was a sunny happy atmosphere as the children enjoyed the bouncy castle, team games,

craft and face painting.  Both adults and children played bingo and  were entertained with drama, dance and songs

by Manna Ministries.  Cakes and ice creams were eaten, Mothers' Union cards and diaries purchased and

information about Mary Sumner and the work of Mothers' Union shared.

One parent said, " The entertainment was exellent and well thought through, it kept everyone busy for the entire duration

and so varied - something for all.  We would love to come again next year and will definitely recommend it to our friends."

Despite the weather a great day was had by all.  Well done to all who helped. Someone left their umbrella behind - please contact Antonia (aswilson@breathemail.net) to reclaim!
